Chairman of the Hanoi Party Committee's Inspection Commission Do Anh Tuan inspects the posting of candidate lists in Thanh Xuan Ward.
Reporting at the inspection meeting, representatives of the wards said that under the leadership of Party committees and local authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee's member organizations have coordinated closely in every stage of the election preparations.
Members of the Election Steering Committees and Election Committees have proactively carried out their assigned tasks in accordance with the plan, while regularly inspecting, monitoring progress, and promptly resolving difficulties and issues faced by local units in relation to election work.
Overview of the working session.
In Thanh Xuan Ward, voter cards have been printed and distributed to the Polling Teams, scheduled to be completed before March 5. Preparations for decorating polling locations are also underway and expected to be completed before March 12.
In Phuong Liet Ward, from March 2 to March 10, the Standing Committee of the ward's Vietnam Fatherland Front will organize voter meetings, both in person and online, so that candidates for the 16th National Assembly, the Hanoi People's Council, and the ward People's Council for the 2026–2031 term can present their campaign programs in accordance with regulations.
After inspecting election preparations in the wards of Thanh Xuan, Khuong Dinh, and Phuong Liet, Tuan acknowledged the sense of responsibility and proactive approach demonstrated by local Party committees and authorities.
He also asked the wards to maintain their determination to ensure that the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term is conducted safely, democratically, and in full compliance with the law.
According to Tuan, the upcoming election is an extremely important political task, particularly as it takes place shortly after the successful organization of the 18th Hanoi Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress. This period also marks the first implementation of the two-tier local government model from the city level down to communes and wards, requiring proactive, flexible, and decisive leadership and administration.

Chairman of the Hanoi Party Committee's Inspection Commission Do Anh Tuan delivers remarks.
Tuan highly appreciated the strong engagement of the entire political system in the wards. Despite the heavy workload, Party committees and local authorities have clearly assigned responsibilities, closely followed the schedule, and promptly addressed emerging difficulties, especially in the application of information technology and updating voter data.
He stressed that election preparations are not only a key political task but also an opportunity for grassroots authorities to demonstrate their commitment to staying close to the people and addressing public needs.
Emphasizing that the time remaining until election day is limited while the workload remains substantial, Tuan called on the wards to continue upholding the spirit of "act immediately, act correctly, and follow through."
He also urged stronger communication and voter mobilization efforts to encourage early participation in voting and increase voter turnout.
At the same time, the review and updating of voter lists provide an opportunity for local authorities to standardize population data, helping them gain a more accurate understanding of demographic conditions and supporting long-term governance and management.
With a strong sense of responsibility and practical experience, Tuan expressed confidence that the three wards will successfully organize the election, ensuring safety, compliance with the law, and truly making election day a festival of the people.
