Hanoi accelerates land clearance and public investment disbursement to sustain economic growth

On May 7, at the conference reviewing April operations and deploying tasks for May 2026, a member of the Standing Board of the Hanoi Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, Nguyen Xuan Luu, outlined measures to accelerate public investment disbursement and resolve delayed investment projects using both public and private capital citywide.

Politburo Member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Head of the Hanoi National Assembly Delegation Tran Duc Thang on the afternoon of April 19 continued his on-site inspections of major infrastructure projects in the capital, including the Me So Bridge-Component Project 3 of the Ring Road 4 – Hanoi Capital Region Investment Project; the Ngoc Hoi Bridge and its approach roads; and the Ring Road 2.5 project.
On April 6, Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, received a delegation from the Lao Ministry of Agriculture and Environment led by Linkham Douangsavanh, member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Agriculture and Environment of Laos.
