According to the Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Council, the program was organized with the desire to share the image of an elegant, civilized and culturally rich Hanoi with international friends, thereby further strengthening the deep and warm cooperative relationship between the two countries.
The highlight of the event series was the exhibition "Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam: Vietnam's First National Academy (1076-2026)" and the special art program "Hanoi: Echoes of a Thousand Years."
The exhibition "Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam: Vietnam's First National Academy (1076-2026)" introduced Russian audiences to a cultural space rich in the historical and humanistic values of Thang Long-Hanoi through documents and images of the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university with a history spanning 950 years.
More than a center for educating many of the country's talented scholars, the Temple of Literature has become a symbolic representation of Vietnam's traditions of learning, respect for teachers and appreciation of talent.
The activity also served as a meaningful milestone leading toward the 950th anniversary of the establishment of the Temple of Literature while honoring the enduring cultural values that define the spirit of Thang Long-Hanoi.
In addition, the exhibition featured vivid images of contemporary Vietnam and its people, along with traditional handicraft products, particularly a replica of the Dong Son bronze drum and cultural experience activities for visitors in Moscow.

Many distinctive Vietnamese art forms such as ca tru singing, xam folk songs, cheo traditional opera and chau van spiritual singing were introduced through performances by distinguished artists from Hanoi, accompanied by the unique sounds of traditional instruments including the monochord zither, bamboo flute and moon lute.
The program also created a memorable impression through performances of famous Russian songs such as "Moscow Nights," "Harbor Evening" and "Swan Fidelity," reflecting cultural exchange and the close bond between the people of Vietnam and Russia.
The Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Council expressed confidence that through this series of artistic and cultural experience activities, the cultural identity of Thang Long-Hanoi would continue to spread strongly among international audiences.
Ha expressed hope that the event would create new opportunities for cooperation in culture, education, tourism and people-to-people exchanges between the two capitals in the coming years.
