On March 31, Duong Duc Tuan, member of the Standing Board of the Hanoi Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, chaired a conference to announce a personnel decision.

At the conference, Nguyen Manh Quan, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs, announced the decision of the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee on the appointment of a deputy chief of office.

Under Decision No. 1388/QD-UBND dated March 27, 2026, Nguyen Trong Minh (born in 1981), Head of the Economic Division of the Office of the Hanoi People's Committee, was appointed Deputy Chief of the Office of the Hanoi People's Committee for a five-year term.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Vice Chairman Duong Duc Tuan emphasized that personnel work is always a key task, playing a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the administrative apparatus.

The appointment of Nguyen Trong Minh not only recognizes his dedication, training and professional growth, but also reflects the city leadership's trust in officials who have been trained and developed through practical experience at the grassroots level.

Tuan noted that throughout his career, especially in his role as Head of the Economic Division, Minh has demonstrated strong professional competence, analytical thinking and practical experience, particularly in economic matters.

Minh has consistently shown initiative and responsibility in advising and proposing practical solutions, contributing to the effective direction and administration of the city government.

As Hanoi enters a new phase of development with both opportunities and challenges, the demands on advisory and coordination work continue to rise.

Tuan expressed confidence that in his new role, Minh will continue to leverage his capabilities and experience, working with the office's leadership and staff to maintain unity, foster innovation, improve work quality and successfully fulfill assigned tasks.

In his remarks, newly appointed Deputy Chief of the Office of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Trong Minh expressed his honor and deep appreciation for the trust placed in him by the Hanoi People's Committee leadership.

He shared that more than 15 years of service at the Office of the Hanoi People's Committee have provided him with valuable experience, along with guidance from previous leaders and support from colleagues, forming a solid foundation for his professional development.

In his new position, Minh pledged to continue improving his professional qualifications, uphold political integrity and public service ethics and maintain a strong sense of responsibility, initiative and creativity.

He also affirmed his commitment to working with the office's team to further enhance the quality of advisory and coordination work, ensuring timely and effective support for the city's leadership.
