Vietnam Party, State leaders pay tribute at Mai Dich Cemetery

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, a delegation representing the Party Central Committee, the State, the National Assembly, the Government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee on the morning of February 13 offered incense in tribute to veteran revolutionaries and fallen heroes at Mai Dich Cemetery in Hanoi.

Attending the ceremony were General Secretary To Lam; former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; State President Luong Cuong; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Politburo member and Permanent member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; along with other Politburo members, Party Central Committee secretaries, members of the Party Central Committee and current and former leaders of the Party and State, as well as representatives of central ministries and agencies.

Representing Hanoi was Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc.

General Secretary To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man offer incense in tribute to former Party and State leaders.

The leaders solemnly laid incense and observed a moment of silence to honor veteran leaders and outstanding citizens who devoted their lives to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

They reaffirmed their commitment to serving the country and the people, strengthening the Party and the political system and leading Vietnam toward a strong and prosperous socialist nation capable of standing shoulder to shoulder with global powers.

Later on the same day, a delegation from the Hanoi Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi also paid tribute at Mai Dich Cemetery.

The delegation was led by Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee.

Joining the delegation were Phung Thi Hong Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council, and Bui Huyen Mai, member of the Standing Board of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi.

Other participants included members of the Standing Board of the Hanoi Party Committee, heads of Party commissions and leaders of municipal departments, agencies, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations.
