He noted that since the first general election in 1946, the country has successfully held 15 National Assembly elections, each marking a significant stage in the nation's history from the resistance for national liberation and reunification to the reform period and the current process of building and protecting the country. He stated that each ballot cast over the past eight decades reflects public trust, the power of national unity and the sense of responsibility of Vietnamese citizens, confirming the democratic and humane nature of the State that all power belongs to the people and the State is of the people, by the people and for the people.
