During the meeting, Hanoi Vice Chairman Do Anh Tuan welcomed the delegation and affirmed that significant opportunities exist to expand cooperation based on the strong and positive relationship between Vietnam and China.
Tuan noted that Hanoi is currently implementing a number of initiatives in high-quality workforce development, healthcare digital transformation, green transportation, green logistics and smart city development. These sectors align closely with the city's strategy of attracting selective investment focused on high-tech and environmentally friendly technologies.

Against this backdrop, the vice chairman said both sides have considerable potential to deepen cooperation in areas including high-quality human resource development, healthcare digitalization, green transportation, green logistics, urban electric vehicle models, smart city development and international investment connectivity.
Expressing appreciation for the warm reception, Sunwah Group Chairman Jonathan KS Choi said he was pleased to see the continued positive development of Vietnam-China relations, which provides a solid foundation for broader cooperation between businesses and localities from both sides.
Impressed by Hanoi's achievements and long-term development vision, Choi agreed that there is substantial potential for sharing experience and collaborating in advanced technologies, including urban electric mobility services and smart city development projects.

Choi also proposed establishing stronger and more regular connectivity mechanisms among Hanoi, Sunwah Group and international partners to facilitate technology and knowledge sharing and support Hanoi's development, as well as Vietnam's broader growth ambitions.
During the discussions, delegates exchanged views on several priority areas, including innovation cooperation, high-tech healthcare development, technology applications in urban governance and transportation, as well as training and development of high-quality human resources.

He added that Hanoi would direct relevant departments, agencies and units to coordinate with the group, provide information, facilitate professional exchanges and create favorable conditions for surveys and research related to potential cooperation projects in accordance with regulations.
