The conference was conducted in full compliance with procedures and ensured democracy, openness and substantive discussion in accordance with the Law on Elections of Deputies to the National Assembly and People's Councils.
Candidates for the Hanoi People's Council included Bui Huyen Mai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi. Candidates for the ward People's Council were Tran Xuan Tan, Chief of Office of the People's Council and People's Committee of Nghia Do Ward; Doan Tien Vi, officer of the Party Building Commission of Tay Ho Ward; and Pham Thi Tu Anh, Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Division of Xuan Dinh Ward.

Based on a review of personal records and work histories, voters unanimously agreed that all four candidates fully met the standards and conditions required for election to People's Councils at all levels.
Voters also noted that the candidates maintain simple lifestyles, are approachable within their residential communities and fulfill their responsibilities as Party members and citizens. They were recognized for setting good examples through active participation in local movements and activities.

With a strong sense of democracy and responsibility, the conference conducted a confidence vote by a show of hands. As a result, 100% of attending voters voted in favor, expressing full confidence in all four candidates for the 2026–2031 People's Council term.
Speaking on behalf of the candidates, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi Bui Huyen Mai sincerely thanked voters of Residential Group No. 7 in Tay Ho Ward for their trust and support. She stressed that this confidence is both an honor and a responsibility, motivating each candidate to continue striving and contributing in a manner worthy of public trust.

Expressing her emotion at the trust shown by local voters, she said the conference provided an opportunity for candidates to listen directly to public opinions within the familiar setting of their neighborhood.
Mai affirmed that building cultural life from villages and residential groups and strengthening community solidarity from the foundation for social consensus. These efforts contribute to the goal of developing Hanoi as a cultured, civilized and modern capital where people enjoy a high quality of life, in line with the Resolution of the 18th Hanoi Party Congress.
She also pledged to maintain close and regular contact with voters through scheduled meetings and community activities in residential areas.
Concluding the conference, a representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tay Ho Ward affirmed that collecting comments and confidence from voters at places of residence is a crucial step in the consultative process.
It helps select qualified and credible representatives capable of reflecting the will and aspirations of the people in the coming term. The conference clearly demonstrated grassroots democracy and consensus while ensuring the election process was carried out in line with current regulations.
