The delegation of the Party and State visits President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.
The wreath bore the inscription: "Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh."
President Ho Chi Minh embodied the shining qualities of morality, wisdom, courage, and conscience of the nation and the era. He was a genius leader, a great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, a hero of national liberation, an eminent man of culture, a model communist soldier in the international movement, and a close friend of peace-loving peoples worldwide.
His life was a powerful symbol of Vietnamese patriotism and revolutionary heroism. He founded and nurtured the Communist Party of Vietnam. Under his leadership, the August Revolution succeeded, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The victory of the August Revolution demonstrated the wise and talented leadership of President Ho Chi Minh. This triumph not only opened a new era for the nation but also laid a firm foundation for Vietnam to win the resistance wars against France and the United States, ultimately achieving national independence, freedom, peace and reunification.
Afterward, the delegation laid wreaths, offered incense, and commemorated fallen heroes at the Memorial on Bac Son Street. In the solemn atmosphere, Party and State leaders honored the memory of those who sacrificed their lives for national liberation, independence, peace, reunification, and the happiness of the people. The wreath carried the words: "Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs."
