On this occasion, the Bach Mai Ward Party Committee awarded Party Badges to 181 members. Among them were two members receiving the 80-year Party Badge, three receiving the 75-year Party Badge, and seven receiving the 70-year Party Badge.
At the ceremony, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Dai Thang presented Party Badges and congratulatory flowers to Party members honored with the 80-year, 75-year, and 70-year Party Badges.

The two members receiving the 80-year Party Badge are Ngo Van Phu (born in 1928), from Nhan Binh Commune, Ninh Binh Province. He joined the Party in October 1947 and became an official member in March 1948.
Phu joined the revolution in 1945 and held many positions during his service. He took part in local self-defense forces in Nam Dinh, enlisted in Platoon C125, served as Chief of Staff of Regiment E24, E59, and Deputy Head of the Organization Department of Division 304.
He later held the rank of Major and served as Operations Officer in the Tri–Thien Military Region. He participated in the campaigns to liberate Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
He was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and served as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Technical Faculty at Army Officer School No. 2, and later to Colonel, working at the Regulations Department and the Military Science Department of the General Staff of the Ministry of National Defense.
Since June 1990, he has been retired and is currently a Party member of Cell No. 10. His honors include the Second-Class Military Merit Order, the First-Class Resistance Order Against the US for National Salvation, and the First, Second, and Third-Class Glorious Soldier Medals.

Another recipient of the 80-year Party Badge is Tran Xuan Hong, a pre-uprising cadre (born in 1929), from Nam Dinh Ward, Ninh Binh Province. He joined the Party on August 19, 1947, and became an official member on December 22, 1947.
Tran Xuan Hong joined the revolution in 1945 and served in many roles. He was a squad member and deputy platoon leader in Company 11, D75, E34, fighting in Nam Dinh, later serving in Company 77 across the Ha Nam–Ninh interprovincial area.
He was Deputy Company Commander and Company Commander of the artillery unit of Regiment E34, fighting in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign. He later served as Deputy Head of the Operations Department of the Artillery Command, Regimental Commander, Brigade Commander of Artillery Brigade 364, and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Artillery Command.
He retired in 1988 and is currently a Party member of Cell No. 33. His honors include the First, Second, and Third-Class Combat Orders and the First, Second, and Third-Class Glorious Soldier Medals.
Speaking at the ceremony, Tran Quyet Thang, Secretary of the Bach Mai Ward Party Committee and Chairman of the Ward People's Council, stressed that awarding the Party's prestigious badges is an honor and pride not only for the individual Party members but also a shared joy and pride of the entire Bach Mai Ward Party Committee.
The ceremony reflects the recognition and appreciation of the Party, the State, and the people for the members' contributions to the revolutionary cause, the struggle for national independence, and the building and defense of the Fatherland.
He said the veteran members are shining symbols of the qualities and integrity of communist soldiers. In every position they held, they fulfilled their duties with excellence. Despite their advanced age, they continue to actively participate in local activities and set exemplary standards across many fields.
On this occasion, Thang also briefed attendees on several key results of the ward's political tasks in 2025. The local economy recorded solid growth, with total budget revenue reaching 160% of the assigned estimate for 2025.
The ward focused on coordinated and proactive implementation of land management, urban management, and construction order oversight. Disbursement of capital for basic construction investment reached 100% of the plan.
Cultural and social sectors continued to develop, social security was ensured, and residents' material and spiritual living standards improved. Administrative reform linked with digital transformation was carried out with increasing determination. Local defense and military work were strengthened, while political security and social order and safety were maintained.
Party building and the strengthening of the political system saw many positive changes. The leadership capacity and combat strength of grassroots Party organizations, along with the quality of cadres and Party members, continued to improve.
Thang emphasized that the overall achievements of Bach Mai Ward include significant contributions from Party members, especially veteran members and those receiving Party Badges at this ceremony.
The ward Party Committee hopes that, with their enthusiasm, wisdom, sense of responsibility, and rich experience, the honorees will continue to lead by example, contribute to Party building, and support the development of the country, the capital, and Bach Mai Ward. They are also expected to encourage and inspire younger generations of cadres and Party members.
On the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year, Spring Binh Ngo 2026, Thang extended his best wishes to the veteran members for good health, peace, and longevity, hoping they will remain a firm pillar and a bright example for younger generations to follow.
