Accordingly, the Prime Minister decided to recognize Thanh Oai District as an advanced new-style rural district in 2024 and Dong Anh District as an advanced new-style rural district in 2023.

Under these decisions, the Prime Minister assigned the Hanoi People's Committee the responsibility of making public announcements and granting rewards in accordance with regulations. The committee was also instructed to direct the People's Committees of Thanh Oai and Dong Anh to continue maintaining and improving the quality of the established criteria, with a particular focus on planning and environmental sustainability to ensure the long-term success of the new rural development program. 

The Prime Minister also tasked the minister, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-affiliated agencies, members of the Central Steering Committee for National Target Programs for the 2021-2025 period, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, and relevant organizations and individuals with implementing this decision.

According to the Coordination Office for the New Rural Development Program in Hanoi, with these latest recognitions, Hanoi now has a total of five districts that have met the standards for advanced new-style rural areas, making it the leading locality in the country in this regard.
