Hanoi ensures all administrative procedures resolved at commune level for citizens

On April 16, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Dai Thang chaired a meeting with leaders of departments, agencies and commune and ward authorities on administrative reform, administrative procedure control, implementation of procedures and decentralization and delegation across the city.

Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung signed Plan No. 150/KH-UBND dated April 11, 2026 on reviewing and developing measures to simplify and standardize internal administrative procedures within administrative agencies across Hanoi in 2026.
The Hanoi People's Council on the morning of November 27 approved staffing levels and labor contract quotas for the city's administrative agencies in 2026.
The city will apply a point-based system converted from central-government principles and criteria, combined with Hanoi-specific factors, to allocate capital-construction funds to commune-level administrations.
