On March 12, Inspection Delegation No. 04 of the Standing Board of the Hanoi Party Committee reviewed preparations for the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term by the Party committees of Ha Dong, Phu Luong, Duong Noi, Kien Hung and Yen Nghia wards.
The delegation was led by Nguyen Trong Dong, member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee.
Reporting at the inspection meeting, representatives of the wards said election preparations are progressing on schedule and have been carried out carefully, creating a festive atmosphere as residents prepare for the country's major civic event.
Duong Noi Ward has five electoral units and 22 polling stations with 33,910 voters.
Nearly 100% of voter cards have been distributed and the ward continues coordinating with local police to update voter list changes until 7 a.m. on March 14, 2026.
Facilities at polling stations meet requirements for organizing the election in accordance with regulations.
So far, no complaints or public feedback related to the election have been received and no difficulties have arisen during implementation.
Kien Hung Ward has five electoral units and 36 polling stations with 41,415 voters.
Since February 25, 2026, polling teams have publicly posted official candidate lists and brief biographies at polling stations in accordance with regulations.
The postings have been conducted transparently at appropriate locations, allowing voters to easily access and review candidate information.

Ward police have implemented plans and conducted fire prevention and firefighting drills at polling stations while coordinating with agencies, organizations and residential groups to ensure safety at election-related meetings and polling locations.
Authorities have also strengthened communication and awareness efforts regarding information security and cybersecurity during the use of information technology systems and digital platforms supporting election work.
As of the reporting time, the ward election committee has not received any complaints or denunciations from citizens related to the election.
Phu Luong Ward has five electoral units and 25 polling stations with 30,491 voters.
Members and inspectors of the ward Party Committee's Inspection Commission have closely monitored grassroots activities and the leadership and implementation of election preparations at assigned electoral units.
They have also provided timely advice to the Party Committee Standing Board in directing election tasks in accordance with regulations.
So far, no signs of misconduct or false and misleading information about personnel or the election have been detected.
The ward has also received no complaints or denunciations related to the election.
Yen Nghia Ward has seven electoral units and 26 polling stations with 36,205 voters.
During the peak communication period before the election from March 1 to March 14, 2026, the ward has focused on publicizing candidate lists for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.
It has also promoted election campaign information and increased local broadcasting to three announcements per day while organizing mobile communication activities twice per week to spread information about the election to residents.
All 26 polling stations have been repaired and upgraded to meet election requirements.
Environmental sanitation and urban order around polling areas have been maintained until election day.
The ward People's Committee has coordinated the organization of voter meetings where candidates can present their campaign programs in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring transparency, equality and compliance with the Election Law.
To date, Yen Nghia Ward has received no complaints or denunciations related to the election or candidates.
Ha Dong Ward has six electoral units and 66 polling stations with 143,549 voters.
The ward has mobilized 72 sets of computers, printers and scanners for neighborhood groups to support election tasks and other local administrative work.
The ward People's Committee has also renovated several cultural houses and community activity centers to improve facilities, ensuring adequate space, lighting, electricity and convenient locations for polling stations.
Although the ward has a large population and frequent population fluctuations, effective monitoring and management have helped maintain stable security and order. No negative public opinion related to the election has been detected.

Concluding the inspection meeting, Standing Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Trong Dong praised the strong commitment and proactive efforts of the wards in preparing for the election.
He urged them to incorporate feedback from delegation members and promptly adjust and complete preparations to ensure all conditions meet legal requirements.
Emphasizing the limited time remaining before election day and the city's responsibility to set an example in successfully organizing this major political event, Dong requested Party Committee secretaries and ward People's Committee chairpersons to focus on several key tasks.
First, strengthen the direct leadership role of Party committees and local authorities.
Heads of agencies must take full responsibility for leadership and direction while regularly inspecting progress and clearly assigning responsibilities to each agency and unit.
Second, accurately review voter lists and ensure full distribution of voter cards while intensifying communication through multiple channels so that all voters clearly understand the time, location and procedures of the election, striving to achieve the highest voter turnout.
Third, carefully prepare facilities at polling stations and arrange mobile ballot boxes to serve voters with health conditions who cannot vote in person.
Fourth, ensure absolute security and safety during the election while proactively responding to emerging situations and combating misinformation on social media.
Authorities must also maintain environmental cleanliness and decorate polling areas to create a festive atmosphere for residents.
Fifth, ensure the election produces the required number of representatives while selecting the right candidates with proper structure and composition in accordance with regulations.
The goal is to elect truly outstanding representatives with integrity, credibility and competence who can represent the will and aspirations of the people.
The Standing Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee also requested local authorities to maximize proactive efforts in resolving matters within their authority, thoroughly review preparations for election day and successfully organize the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term in a safe, lawful and democratic manner that becomes a celebration for the entire population.
