Thang expressed his pleasure at the enthusiastic and responsible atmosphere among voters in the area and acknowledged the thorough preparations made by the local Party committee, authorities and election support teams.
He encouraged voters to continue demonstrating their democratic spirit and civic responsibility by participating fully in the election and selecting representatives who truly possess strong character, capability and credibility to represent the will and aspirations of the people.
Emphasizing the significance of each ballot, Thang noted that voting is not only a right but also a responsibility of every citizen toward the development of the capital city and the nation. Choosing the right candidates will help build a cleaner and stronger government apparatus that operates effectively and responds to the trust of voters and the public.

On this occasion, Thang also asked local Party committees, authorities and election teams to continue ensuring effective organization and services so Election Day proceeds democratically, safely and in accordance with the law, truly becoming a nationwide civic celebration.
In the solemn and joyful atmosphere of the national election day, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee and his spouse cast their ballots together with voters at Polling Station No. 4 to elect deputies to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.

Speaking to the press after casting his ballot, Thang said he clearly felt several new features in this year's election. According to him, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term is being held for the first time in the context of implementing a two-tier local government model.
"Personally, after casting my vote, I can clearly feel the difference in this election. At polling stations, residents are paying close attention and fulfilling their civic rights and responsibilities in a serious and responsible manner to choose the most deserving representatives for the National Assembly and People's Councils," Thang said.

The Hanoi chairman expressed confidence that with strong public support, the election will select capable and qualified representatives to serve in the National Assembly and People's Councils, contributing to the country's development in a new stage.
On this occasion, Thang also sent a message to voters in the capital: "Today is truly a major day for the entire nation. I hope voters, especially those in Hanoi, continue to demonstrate their sense of responsibility by fully exercising their civic rights and carefully choosing representatives who best represent the will and aspirations of the people."

According to Thang, with the unity of the people and the elected representatives, Hanoi will gain additional momentum to effectively implement new policies from the central government, carry out the capital's master planning and apply special mechanisms, helping the city advance strongly in the coming development phase.
