The 2026 Hanoi Tourism Festival themed "Hanoi – Green tourism, digital experiences" will take place from March 13 to 15 at Thong Nhat Park, promising a wide range of activities that showcase the capital as a vibrant, welcoming and experience-rich destination.
The event is organized by the Hanoi Department of Tourism in accordance with Program No. 02 issued by the Hanoi People's Committee on January 9, 2026 regarding investment, trade and tourism promotion for 2026.
This annual tourism promotion event aims to introduce domestic and international visitors to a Hanoi that is both rich in cultural heritage and dynamic in modern development, offering diverse tourism products.
This year's festival will feature nearly 100 booths designed as an exploration journey through various themed spaces highlighting the capital's attractions.
The "Memory" space recreates the beauty of Hanoi's heritage, old quarter, architecture and traditional craft villages through destination models, photography exhibitions and artistic displays, allowing visitors to experience the depth of the capital's cultural and historical legacy.
Meanwhile, the "Connection" space serves as a meeting point for tourism businesses and visitors, introducing new tour routes, appealing travel products and numerous promotional campaigns offering attractive discount vouchers.
A new highlight of the festival is the "Technology" space, where visitors can explore modern digital tourism applications such as VR360 virtual reality experiences, international online tourism platforms, artificial intelligence tools and robotic receptionists.
In addition, the "Green region" space presents eco-tourism, rural tourism, resort destinations and outdoor sports experiences in well-known Hanoi locations including Ba Vi, Soc Son, My Duc, Dong Mo and the ancient village of Duong Lam.
The "Essence" space celebrates Hanoi's craft villages and culinary traditions through demonstrations of traditional crafts and tastings of famous specialties such as lotus tea, Vong village green rice flakes, Hanoi pho, Ngu Xa rolled pho, Thanh Tri steamed rice rolls and Hang Duong preserved fruits.
The "Four-region connection" area features booths promoting tourism from several provinces including Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Tuyen Quang, Khanh Hoa and Gia Lai, helping strengthen tourism cooperation between Hanoi and other regions across the country.
Many programs and activities will be held throughout the festival.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on March 13 at the main stage in Thong Nhat Park, featuring an elaborately staged artistic program with the participation of many well-known young artists.

Visitors will also enjoy various cultural performances including Te Tieu water puppetry, the Mo Xuan Lai – Da Phuc tug-of-war performance, excerpts from the stage production "Tinh hoa Bac Bo," gong performances in Suoi Hai and Bac Ninh Quan ho folk singing.
In addition, visitors can participate in experiential activities such as the "Tea conversations by the veranda" program, where they can enjoy tea while listening to stories about cultural and historical destinations.
