On April 28, the Hanoi Technical Infrastructure Management Center under the Hanoi Department of Construction will coordinate with relevant units to simultaneously activate and test 15 pumping stations for lake water regulation, aiming to prevent flooding during the rainy season.
Nguyen Duc Hung, Director of the Hanoi Technical Infrastructure Management Center, said that 15 pumping stations under urgent anti-flooding projects have been basically completed and are ready for trial operation.
The 15 pumping stations to be tested include the Thu Le Lake pumping station in Thu Le Park, Ngoc Khanh Ward, where two additional submersible pumps, each with a capacity of 0.5 cubic meters per second, have been installed by Chau Au Pump Joint Stock Company.
The Dam Chuoi Lake pumping station in Khuong Dinh Ward has repaired the electric motors of two submersible pumps with a capacity of 0.25m3 per second and installed two additional pumps of the same capacity, also supplied and installed by Chau Au Pump Joint Stock Company.
The Dong Da Lake pumping station in O Cho Dua Ward has installed two submersible pumps with a capacity of 1m3 per second, supplied and installed by Chau Au Pump Joint Stock Company.
The Den Lu Lake pumping station in Tan Mai Ward has installed two submersible pumps with a capacity of 0.5m3 per second, supplied and installed by Chau Au Pump Joint Stock Company.
The Thanh Cong Lake pumping station in Giang Vo Ward has lowered and extended the shafts of two axial flow pumps with a capacity of 0.25m3 per second each and installed two additional submersible pumps with a capacity of 0.5m3 per second, supplied and installed by Chau Au Pump Joint Stock Company.
The Tai Trau Lake pumping station in Bo De Ward has installed two additional submersible pumps with a capacity of 0.31m3 per second per pump, supplied and installed by Chau Au Pump Joint Stock Company.
The Cau Nga 1 pumping station in Xuan Phuong Ward includes three new pump units with a total capacity of 6m3 per second, each unit 2m3 per second, supplied and installed by Hai Duong Pump Manufacturing Joint Stock Company, aiming to address flooding in Vinsmart urban area, Geleximco A3, Thang Long Boulevard and part of Tay Mo residential areas.
The Cau Nga 3 pumping station in Xuan Phuong Ward includes two new pump units with a total capacity of 4m3 per second, each unit 2m3 per second, supplied and installed by Hai Duong Pump Manufacturing Joint Stock Company, targeting flooding along DT70 road and residential areas in Mieu Nha, Ngoc Mach and Xuan Phuong.
The Dong Tep pumping station in Xuan Phuong Ward includes two new pump units with a total capacity of 2m3 per second, each unit 1 cubic meter per second, supplied and installed by Hai Duong Pump Manufacturing Joint Stock Company, addressing flooding in An Tho residential area, Vista Complex, Geleximco A area, sections of Thang Long Boulevard and Vinhomes Smart City Tay Mo.
The Bac An Khanh pumping station in Son Dong Commune includes two new pump units with a total capacity of 4m3 per second, each unit 2m3 per second, supplied and installed by Hai Duong Pump Manufacturing Joint Stock Company, addressing flooding along Thang Long Boulevard and surrounding areas.
The Nghia Tan Lake pumping station in Nghia Do Ward has installed two submersible pumps with a capacity of 0.25m3 per second, supplied and installed by Chau Au Pump Joint Stock Company.
The CV1 Park Lake pumping station in Cau Giay Ward has installed two new submersible pumps with a capacity of 1 cubic meter per second, supplied and installed by Hai Duong Pump Manufacturing Joint Stock Company.

After testing, the Center and contractors will continue completing four remaining components, including drainage systems, culverts, canals, open ditches and two regulating reservoirs at Hang Da Market and Bac Duong underpass, ensuring readiness for full operation by April 30, 2026.
After 75 days of intensive construction, 36 out of 40 components across three urgent projects have been basically completed, reaching about 95% of the total workload.
