The signing of cooperation agreement between Hanoitourist and Transerco.
On March 10, the Hanoi Tourism Corporation (Hanoitourist) and the Hanoi Transport Corporation (Transerco) signed a memorandum of understanding on tourism development cooperation for the 2026–2030 period, marking a new stage of collaboration between two key enterprises of Hanoi in the tourism and transportation sectors.
The memorandum aims to strengthen cooperation between the two corporations by leveraging each side's strengths while developing joint products and services to enhance brand value, expand business opportunities and improve service quality for customers.
Through this cooperation, the two organizations seek to create an integrated service chain connecting tourism activities with transportation systems, enhancing visitors' experiences when traveling in Hanoi.
Under the agreement, Hanoitourist and Transerco will combine their strengths in tourism and transportation to develop integrated service products for visitors to Hanoi.
Transerco will provide transportation services including urban buses, City Tour buses, airport shuttle buses, tourism transport services and charter transportation.
The company will also coordinate with Hanoitourist to design tourism programs linked with the public transport network, enabling convenient connections between transportation services and the capital's attractions.
Hanoitourist will provide travel, accommodation, commercial and entertainment services while collaborating with Transerco to develop new tourism programs and strengthen joint communication campaigns promoting Hanoi as a safe, friendly and attractive destination.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chairman of the Members' Council of Hanoitourist Nguyen Van Dung said that in recent years Hanoi has consistently affirmed its position as one of the country's leading tourism centers, with a rich cultural heritage system, improving transportation infrastructure and many distinctive tourism products.
Along with the growth of the tourism sector, demand for high-quality transport services that provide convenient connections between destinations has also increased significantly, he said.
The cooperation agreement between Hanoitourist and Transerco for the 2026–2030 period demonstrates the determination of two key city enterprises to establish a stronger link between tourism and transportation in the capital.
This comprehensive partnership will not only improve service quality for visitors but also open new directions for tourism product development in Hanoi in the coming years.
"The focus of cooperation during the 2026–2030 period is to build synchronized tourism packages that effectively integrate transportation with tourism services, diversify visitor experiences and enhance the efficiency of infrastructure and services operated by both sides. This also contributes to implementing Politburo Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW dated January 6, 2026 on developing the state-owned economy," Dung said.
