Chairman of the Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung made the announcement at a conference “Meeting and chatting with businesses” on November 28 in Ha Noi.
Momentums for start-up businesses
Ha Noi Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises Association Chairman Do Quang Hien announced that the association convened eight forums on business environment improvement
as well as 15 trade promotion events.
However, SMEs are facing numerous obstacles, including the lack of legal corridors, specific policies on business start-up, venture investment, capital mobilization from the community, and preferential tax for private investors.
Hence, Mr. Hien called on more momentums to boost new start-up businesses; ensure transparent legal environment in information access, and clear administrative procedures on business start-up.
Standing by businesses
Chairman Chung said that since the
beginning
of 2016, the local authorities have streamlined administrative procedures at d
ifferent
departments from five steps to only two.
Since
January
1, 2017, the city will establish a special working teams which consist of members of departments to collect recommendations and immediately resolve obstacles for businesses at one-stop-shop sections.
In addition, the local authorities are considering
additional
t
raining for SMEs management.
The Chairman
also committed to boosting interconnection with ministries, agencies, and sectors in 2017./.
