This year also marks the first time Vietnam implements tuition-free education at preschool and general levels nationwide.
In addition, Hanoi begins providing financial support for school meals at primary boarding classes, with funding exceeding VND3 trillion (US$113.7 million), benefiting about 768,000 students at both public and private schools (excluding foreign-invested institutions).
Grade 10 students welcomed at the ceremony.

In the 2024–2025 academic year, all students graduated from high school, 95% were admitted to their first-choice universities, and 93% obtained IELTS certificates, with more than 35% scoring above 7.0 or 8.0. It recorded the highest number of students exempted from foreign language exams to date.
Phan Huy Chu High School has also been recognized for three consecutive years as an exemplary "creating school" by Microsoft. Twenty-one teachers have been honored as global education experts, and all students have obtained international computer certificates.
