The program is considered a breakthrough solution in Hanoi's digital economy development, making a positive contribution to the goal of raising the digital economy's share in the city's GRDP to 30 percent by 2025 and 40 percent by 2030.
The 2025 goal is to pilot the program and establish the "Hanoi Capital Products Stall" on Shopee's e-commerce platform.
The city aims for more than 60 percent of products in each OCOP group to be listed, and for 100 percent of producers and businesses joining the stall to adopt digital technology solutions, receive training, and operate their online shops effectively.
Between 2026 and 2030, the program will be expanded to include more producers and businesses. The "Hanoi Capital Products Stall" will be developed on social media platforms and suitable cross-border e-commerce sites popular in Vietnam.
The Hanoi Technology Exchange will also be linked to the stall. The target is to bring 100 percent of OCOP products and 50 percent of other goods and services across sectors onto the stall.
Hanoi will also cooperate with neighboring provinces and cities in the Capital Region to expand the program and create the "Capital Region Products Stall."
Implementation solutions for 2025
1. Launch the "Hanoi Capital Products Stall" on Shopee.
2. Introduce digital signatures, e-contracts, e-invoices, and product traceability for participating businesses.
3. Provide training and capacity-building for producers and businesses involved in the stall.
4. Carry out communication activities, including a kickoff event and media campaigns.
The People's Committee has assigned the Department of Science and Technology to lead and coordinate with relevant agencies for implementation.
The department will work with Shopee to survey available OCOP and other products from Hanoi-based producers, and design and launch the "Hanoi Capital Products Stall" across Shopee's web, mobile, and app platforms.
It will also guide and connect local digital technology enterprises to provide solutions for participating businesses, thereby promoting Hanoi's digital product market.
Participating producers and businesses must sign agreements committing to ensure the quality, quantity, and specifications of goods sold on the stall.
They are responsible for product quality under the law, must cooperate with Shopee and relevant units to promptly handle customer feedback, and comply with all legal regulations related to business, trade, consumer protection and intellectual property rights.
