Hanoi set to host Autumn Fair 2025

Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen has signed Official Dispatch No. 5394/UBND-DT dated October 2, 2025, on coordinating the organization of the Autumn Fair 2025.

The Hanoi People's Committee has assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to lead and coordinate with relevant agencies in implementing the Prime Minister's Telegram No. 172/CD-TTg dated September 25, 2025.

In addition, the department will follow Official Dispatch No. 5256/UBND-KT dated September 25, 2025, from the City People's Committee on coordinating and participating in the organization of the Vietnam National Industrial, Trade, and Consumer Goods Fair 2025.

The department is responsible for notifying local enterprises, manufacturers, and business establishments, encouraging their participation in the Autumn Fair 2025, and developing promotional programs with discounts of up to 100% to stimulate consumption, promote trade, and expand the domestic market.

The department shall also advise and report to the municipal People's Committee on any issues beyond its authority.

The Department of Culture and Sports is tasked with coordinating relevant agencies to implement the Prime Minister's directives in Telegram No. 172/CD-TTg dated September 25, 2025. It will carry out communication campaigns to raise public awareness and encourage residents to attend the fair.

The Department of Construction shall coordinate with relevant units to execute the directions in Telegram No. 172/CD-TTg, Notice No. 524/TB-VPCP, and Official Dispatch No. 7405/BCT-XTTM dated September 28, 2025, from the Ministry of Industry and Trade. It is also assigned to enhance public transport routes to serve fair visitors and study the feasibility of offering free public transport during the event.

The department must urgently review and strengthen transportation connections to the Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Center.

The Departments of Agriculture and Environment, Health, and the Hanoi Police, together with the Dong Anh Commune People's Committee, are responsible for coordinating with relevant agencies and directing competent forces to follow the instructions in Notice No. 524/TB-VPCP dated September 30, 2025, of the Government Office. They must ensure environmental sanitation, healthcare, public security, and fire prevention throughout the fair.
