Specifically, eligible students of 18 suburban districts will go back to school from next week. Learners of other grades will keep studying online. Kindergarteners will continue to stay at home.

So far, the local authorities have yet issued any plan on school reopening for students in urban areas.

Under the plan, schools are requested to ensure physical distance, cut the number of students attending each lesson and teachers must be fully vaccinated.

Earlier, Ha Noi authorities closed all schools from kindergartens to high schools from May 4 due to complex COVID-19 evolution.

Besides Ha Noi, many other localities have worked out plans and scenarios to ensure safety for students when they return to school.

Statistics of the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) showed that 25 provinces and cities have allowed pupils from primary to high schools to return to school as of September 27.

There are 13 localities combining in-person, online and television schooling for students. In these localities, those living in “green zones” can go to school while children in unsafe areas continue to study online and via the television.

The remaining 25 provinces and cities are adopting online and television teaching due to the serious evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic . / .
