On January 22, the Hanoi Labor Federation held a conference to deploy the "Trade Union Tet Market 2026" program.

Nguyen Huy Khanh, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation, chaired the conference.

To better care for the material and spiritual well-being of union members and workers during the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, the Hanoi Labor Federation will organize the city-level "Trade Union Tet Market 2026" at the Social Housing Area in Thien Loc Commune and at the Exhibition Hall of the Vietnam–Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace.

The Tet Market will feature zero-dong booths, booths selling Tet goods and daily necessities at discounts of at least 10% compared with market prices, gift distribution, and cultural and artistic activities for union members and workers.

The Tet Market at the Social Housing Area in Thien Loc Commune will take place from 8:30 AM on January 31, 2026, to 7:00 PM on February 1, 2026. The market will include about 50 booths.

The program will provide 2,400 shopping vouchers for disadvantaged union members and workers, each voucher worth VND500,000 (US$19), along with 2,400 zero-dong gift packages, each valued at VND300,000 ($11.5).

The Tet Market at the Exhibition Hall of the Vietnam–Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace will take place from 9:30 AM on February 7, 2026, to 7:00 PM on February 8, 2026.

The market will include about 70 booths, with 3,600 shopping vouchers for disadvantaged union members and workers, each worth VND500,000 ($19), along with 3,600 zero-dong gift packages, each valued at VND300,000 ($11.5) provided by the program.

During the conference, representatives of the Tet Market Organizing Committee announced the market regulations, schedules, booth locations, and facilities at the venues. Representatives of participating units and businesses raised questions and proposals, which the Organizing Committee addressed thoroughly.

At the press briefing, Nguyen Huy Khanh, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation, emphasized that participation in the Tet Market also offers businesses an opportunity to promote their images, brands, and products.

He expressed his hope that participating units would continue to uphold a strong sense of responsibility and closely coordinate with the Organizing Committee to ensure the success of the "Trade Union Tet Market 2026", making it a meaningful destination that spreads care and solidarity from the trade union organization to union members and workers in the capital during the Tet holiday season.
