According to the plan, Hanoi will stage fireworks at five locations with six firing sites, featuring both high- and low-altitude fireworks combined with pyrotechnics.
Specifically, high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks with pyrotechnics will be launched at two sites: in front of the headquarters of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper and in front of the Hanoi Post Office, both in Hoan Kiem Ward.

High-altitude and low-altitude fireworks will be launched at four other sites: Dao Dua at Thong Nhat Park in Hai Ba Trung Ward; in front of the Aquatic Sports Palace at the National Sports Complex in Tu Liem Ward; at the Lac Long Quan Flower Garden in Tay Ho Ward; and at Van Quan Lake in Ha Dong Ward.
The total number of high-altitude fireworks is 3,600, with 600 shells per site. The total number of low-altitude fireworks is 540 sets, with 90 sets per site. The duration of the display will be 15 minutes, from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on September 2, 2025.
The People's Committee assigned the Hanoi Capital Command to take the lead and coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, and ward-level People's Committees to ensure all aspects of transportation of shells, fireworks, and equipment.
They must organize training and instruct local defense commands to coordinate with ward-level military commands to build firing sites, connect fireworks, and conduct the displays.
The command must also work closely with the Hanoi Police to strictly direct patrols, guard duties, security, public safety, fire and explosion prevention, and to ensure absolute safety before, during, and after the fireworks displays.
The organization of fireworks displays aims to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere, to inspire patriotism, and to express national pride, unity, determination, and the aspiration of the people of Hanoi, together with people across the country, to build a prosperous and happy nation.
The People’s Committee requested strict coordination among departments, agencies, and localities, emphasizing thorough preparation and adherence to the approved program and schedule.
