Hanoi issues plan to promote socio-economic development

Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Truong Viet Dung has signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 5140/UBND-KT dated September 17, 2025, on the implementation of Prime Minister’s Directive No. 165/CD-TTg dated September 16, 2025.

According to the dispatch, to implement Directive No. 165/CD-TTg of the Prime Minister on maintaining macroeconomic stability, controlling inflation, promoting growth, ensuring major economic balances, and improving people’s living standards, the Hanoi People’s Committee requires departments, agencies, and local authorities to continue the strict and effective implementation of instructions from the Central Government and the capital.

They must focus on completing the targets, goals, tasks, and solutions for the coming months and quarters of 2025, striving to achieve GRDP growth of at least 8.5 percent.

The Department of Finance is assigned to take the lead and coordinate with relevant units to continue reviewing, consolidating, and promptly advising the City People’s Committee on measures and tasks to promote economic growth in 2025.
