Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha has signed Decision No. 6434/QD-UBND dated December 25, 2025, to establish interagency food safety inspection teams for the 2026 New Year, Lunar New Year and Spring Festival season.
The decision establishes three interagency inspection teams to conduct unannounced inspections from December 26, 2025 to March 20, 2026 across all 126 wards and communes.
Team 1 will be led by Vu Cao Cuong, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Health, with Dang Thanh Phong, Head of the Hanoi Food Safety Sub-department, and Nguyen Quang Trung, Deputy Head of the sub-department, serving as deputies
Team 2 will be led by Ta Van Tuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, with Nguyen Thi Thu Hang, Head of the Quality and Market Development Division, and Tran Anh Hieu, Deputy Head of the division, serving as deputies.
Team 3 will be led by Nguyen Kieu Oanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, with Kieu Dinh Canh, Deputy Head of the Market Surveillance Sub-department, and Nguyen Thi Thu Anh, Deputy Head of the Consumer Protection Division, serving as deputies.
Members of the three teams will include representatives from relevant departments and agencies.
The teams will inspect leadership, direction and implementation of food safety measures serving the New Year, Lunar New Year and Spring Festival at all 126 wards and communes.
They will inspect and supervise compliance with food safety regulations at food production, processing, trading and catering establishments, with a strong focus on product origins and quality during the holiday period.
The teams must promptly handle violations, recommend actions, or transfer cases to competent authorities in accordance with food safety laws and compile inspection results, proposals and recommendations for reporting as required.
