On April 13, at the National Assembly building, the Politburo and the Central Party Committee Secretariat held a national conference to study, disseminate and implement the Resolution of the second plenum of the 14th Central Party Committee.
Attending at the central venue were General Secretary and State President To Lam; former Politburo Member and former State President Luong Cuong; Politburo Member and Prime Minister Le Minh Hung; former Politburo Member and former Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; former Politburo Member and former Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Sinh Hung; and Politburo Member and Permanent member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu.
Also attending were current and former Politburo members, Secretaries and former Secretaries of the Central Party Committee, current and former members of the Central Party Committee and leaders of central commissions, ministries, agencies and mass organizations.
The conference was connected from Dien Hong Hall at the National Assembly to more than 36,323 locations nationwide, including provincial and municipal Party committees, Party organizations under the Central Party Committee, ministries, agencies and grassroots units, with nearly 2.2 million officials and Party members participating.
The event was broadcast live on channels of Vietnam Television, the Voice of Vietnam and digital platforms for nationwide public access.
Politburo Member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Head of the Hanoi National Assembly Delegation Tran Duc Thang attended the event at the central venue.

At the Hanoi Party Committee venue were Central Party Committee Member and Standing Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Trong Dong; Central Party Committee Member, Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Dai Thang; Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha; along with members of the Standing Board of the Hanoi Party Committee and leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi.
At the conference, Party and State leaders presented five key topics, including regulations on implementing the Party Charter; a resolution on enhancing inspection, supervision and Party discipline; regulations on inspection, supervision and discipline; core contents of regulations on political and ideological work within the Party; a resolution on strengthening Party leadership in combating corruption, wastefulness and misconduct in the new period; and conclusions on socio-economic development planning, national finance, public debt management and medium-term public investment for 2026–2030 associated with achieving double-digit growth targets.
