The event was attended by Tran Dinh Canh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee and Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission.
At the ceremony, the Head of the Party Building Commission of Van Dinh Commune announced the decision of the Hanoi Party Committee to award the 70-year Party Membership Badge to Nguyen Gia Thanh. This prestigious honor recognizes the veteran Party member's steadfast dedication and lifelong contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

Nguyen Gia Thanh was born in June 1932 in Hoang Duong Hamlet. He joined the revolution at an early age and served in Division 312. Over the years, he held many important grassroots positions, including Party Group Leader, Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell, Secretary of the Hoang Duong Hamlet Party Cell and later Deputy Secretary and then Secretary of the Son Cong Commune Party Committee.
In every role, he consistently demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility, upheld the integrity of a Party member and served as a dedicated and exemplary figure, earning the trust and respect of comrades and local residents.
In recognition of these contributions, he has been awarded several high honors by the Party and the State, including the Second-Class Resistance War Medal and the Second-Class Victory Medal.
Speaking at the event, Tran Dinh Canh emphasized that presenting Party Membership Badges at the homes of veteran members reflects the Party's deep respect and gratitude for their quiet sacrifices and contributions.
He noted that the ceremony also helps pass on revolutionary traditions and strengthen faith and ideals among today's and future generations.
Tran Dinh Canh extended his warm congratulations to Nguyen Gia Thanh and wished him good health, peace and longevity, encouraging him to continue serving as a shining example of political integrity and revolutionary ethics for younger generations and Party members to follow.
