Personnel preparation has been carefully conducted to ensure standards, reasonable structure, proactiveness and quality. The application of information technology has been strengthened. Political security and social order and safety have been proactively ensured from an early stage. Complaints and denunciations have decreased compared to the previous term and no complex cases have arisen.
The National Assembly Chairman commended localities such as Ho Chi Minh City for directing early voting plans in certain areas. In Hanoi, the election direction has covered all communes and wards. In particular, through today's nationwide online conference of the National Election Council, Hanoi connected online to all communes and wards across the city.
Emphasizing lessons learned from previous elections, Man stressed that despite thorough preparation, there must be no complacency or negligence. Authorities must closely follow and fully implement the requirements set out in Directive 46 and the conclusions of the Politburo on leadership of the election, Conclusion No. 03 of the Secretariat and Plan No. 02 of the National Election Council.
Regarding key tasks ahead, he requested the effective organization of voter meetings to ensure democracy, equality and transparency, along with continued review of voter lists to ensure no eligible voter is omitted.
He also called for stronger communication efforts before, during and after the election. Central and local media agencies should intensify communication in line with guidance from the Central Commission for Information and Education and Mass Mobilization and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
"The more strictly we implement the process and the sooner we announce the results, the better. It is expected that on April 6, 2026, the first session of the 16th National Assembly will open, followed by the first sessions of local People's Councils. At present, the National Assembly Standing Committee is also preparing for the first session of the 16th National Assembly, including personnel matters and issues to be approved," he said.
He also urged proper settlement of complaints and denunciations within jurisdiction and completion of summarizing results and the verification of the eligibility of elected deputies in accordance with regulations.

"The success of this election will create an important starting point for building and consolidating the state apparatus for the new term and establish a solid political and social foundation to successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress. It is also an occasion to affirm the Party's leadership capacity, the State's management effectiveness and the operational efficiency of the political system," he said, recalling the direction of General Secretary To Lam.
He expressed confidence that with high determination from Party committees, close coordination across the political system and strong public support, the election will be successful.
