The minister urged local authorities to promptly restructure the organization and personnel to ensure that market management departments can continue their inspection and control activities without disruption.
At the conference, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen stated that Hanoi had signed the transfer agreement with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and immediately assigned relevant departments to propose an organizational structure and refine the functions and duties of the Hanoi Market Management Department. As of now, the transfer process has been largely completed. The city has directed its departments to focus on their tasks and maintain uninterrupted market inspection and control activities.
Hanoi's leadership requested that the Ministry of Industry and Trade, along with the Department of Market Management and Development under the ministry and other localities, establish a coordinated mechanism to combat counterfeit goods and create a favorable legal framework.
