Bui Huyen Mai, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi VFF Committee, received a donation of VND1 billion (US$39,500) from the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, VFF Committee, and residents of Cau Giay Ward.

Vice Chairman of the Hanoi VFF Committee Pham Anh Tuan also received VND100 million ($3,950) from the Hanoi Center for Vocational Education and Women's Development and the Hanoi Women Entrepreneurs Club.

Part of the donation from the Hanoi Center for Vocational Education and Women's Development came from the center's charity auction activities. The funds were sent to the Hanoi VFF Committee to promptly assist residents directly affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11 in stabilizing their lives and restoring production.

In recent days, Hanoi and several northern and central provinces have suffered severe impacts from the two consecutive storms, which caused heavy rains, landslides, and flooding, leading to significant human and property losses.

Upholding the spirit of "Hanoi for the nation, Hanoi with the nation" and the traditions of solidarity and compassion, many businesses, agencies, organizations, and individuals have joined hands to support people in flood-affected areas through practical and timely actions.

Previously, the Hanoi VFF Committee also received VND250 million ($9,875) from Hanoi Medical College and VND350 million ($13,825) from the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, VFF Committee, and residents of Phuc Thinh Commune.
