Bui Huyen Mai, a member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi, together with Nguyen Tien Cuong, Secretary of the Thanh Tri Commune Party Committee and Chairman of the Commune People's Council, present the 70-year Party Badge to Pham Thi Chi.
At the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Thanh Tri Commune Party Committee awarded the 70-year Party Badge to Pham Thi Chi, born in 1939, who is a member of the Co Dien B Hamlet Party cell in Thanh Tri Commune, Hanoi.
She is a veteran Party member with a long record of dedication and close ties to local revolutionary movements. The committee also posthumously awarded the 60-year Party Badge to Nguyen Thi Quan, born in 1945, recognizing her significant contributions throughout her revolutionary career.
In this award round, the Thanh Tri Commune Party Committee had 46 Party members honored with Party Badges. Of these, two received the 65-year badge, two the 60-year badge, four the 55-year badge, five the 50-year badge, eight the 45-year badge, twelve the 40-year badge and thirteen the 30-year badge.

Also on the afternoon of January 27, the Tay Ho Ward Party Committee held its Party Badge award ceremony for the February 3, 2026 round. On this occasion, the Tay Ho Ward Party Committee honored 141 Party members, including one who received the 80-year Party Badge and one who received the 70-year Party Badge.

In her remarks, Mai said the event carried deep political significance and reflected the Party's respect and recognition for the enduring dedication and contributions of veteran Party members.
"This is a source of pride not only for each Party member and their family, but also for the Tay Ho Ward Party Committee and the Hanoi Party Committee as a whole. The Party Badges presented today are noble honors that recognize loyalty, dedication, quiet sacrifices and major contributions by Party members to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the nation and the capital," she said.
Highlighting Hanoi's recent achievements, Mai noted that despite difficulties and challenges, the capital recorded economic growth of 8.16 percent in 2025. Budget revenue exceeded VND700 trillion (US$28 billion), placing Hanoi among the country's leading localities in budget collection.
The city has also launched the construction of many key projects, accelerated digital transformation and effectively implemented social welfare policies, while maintaining public order and safety. These achievements provide a solid foundation for Hanoi to enter a new development phase and reflect the contributions of communes and wards across the city, including Tay Ho Ward.
She also commended the Tay Ho Ward Party Committee for stabilizing its organizational structure, successfully organizing its Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term, fulfilling socio-economic development targets, caring for people's livelihoods and maintaining security and order. Tay Ho Ward was assessed by the Hanoi Party Committee as having excellently fulfilled its tasks in 2025.

Congratulating the veteran Party members who received Party Badges, Mai expressed hope that they would continue to uphold their pioneering and exemplary role, contribute their wisdom and experience to nurturing revolutionary traditions among younger generations and remain shining examples for younger Party members to follow.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026, she extended her best wishes for good health to veteran Party members and wished the Tay Ho Ward Party Committee, authorities and residents unity and success in achieving development goals, contributing to a capital that is increasingly cultured, civilized and modern.
Later on January 27, Mai visited and personally presented the 70-year Party Badge at the home of veteran Party member Ho Thi Vien, born in 1939. Ho Thi Vien is a native of Tay Ho Ward, Hanoi. She joined the Party on January 4, 1956 and became an official member on July 4, 1956. She is currently a member of the Party cell of Residential Group No. 12 in Tu Lien, under the Tay Ho Ward Party Committee.
