At the conference, a representative of the Standing Office of the Organizing Committee for the commemorative activities of the Hanoi Police delivered a progress report on preparations for the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Forces and the 20th Anniversary of the All-People's Day for National Security Protection.
According to the report, the Hanoi Police have closely coordinated with relevant units to organize a series of meaningful events leading up to the commemoration. These include the Commendation Ceremony for 10 Outstanding Young Faces of the Hanoi Police and the launch of a peak campaign mobilizing the youth of the Capital Police to take the lead in ensuring security and order during Party Congresses at all levels, as well as at national and international events.
The Hanoi Police have also held a conference to study and discuss several works by General Secretary To Lam, linking them to the practical duties of Hanoi's police force. Additionally, they organized a meeting with Hanoi police officers who supported the Southern battlefield and families of police martyrs who sacrificed during the resistance war against the United States.
From now until August 19, 2025, the city will continue to implement several key activities, including: renovating and comprehensively upgrading the Hanoi Police Museum; conducting visual propaganda; organizing contests for photo, poem, and song composition about the Hanoi Police officers; performing the play "Against the Current of Peace"; exhibiting the thematic display "Uncle Ho and the Capital Police"; organizing an open sports festival and gratitude, back-to-the-root, community mobilization, and "paying tribute" activities; organizing the July flag-raising ceremony of the Hanoi Police at the Hanoi Flag Tower, Thang Long Imperial Citadel relic site...

Delivering a directive speech at the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Le Hong Son praised the Hanoi Police for proactively advising and issuing plans to organize the commemorative activities. He requested that the Hanoi Police continue to closely coordinate with relevant agencies to implement practical and effective activities, with particular focus on communication work to highlight the achievements, victories, and glorious history of the Hanoi Police force, thereby contributing to reinforcing public trust and inspiring a sense of responsibility and unity throughout society.
On behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Hanoi Police, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Police Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen sincerely thanked the close attention and direction of the Hanoi People's Committee leadership, as well as the responsible, effective, and wholehearted cooperation of agencies and units in contributing ideas and building the content of the Plan for the Commemorative Ceremony and commemorative activities for the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Forces and the 20th Anniversary of the All-People's Day for National Security Protection.
The Deputy Director of the Hanoi Police affirmed that the Hanoi Police will closely coordinate with relevant agencies and units to organize a series of commemorative activities in a practical, effective manner, creating wide-reaching impact across society, thereby promoting the strength of the entire political system and all people in the cause of maintaining national security and ensuring social order and safety in the new context.
Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen also requested the departments, committees, branches, and units of the city, as well as press agencies in the area, to pay attention and cooperate with the Hanoi Police to continue effectively implementing information dissemination and guiding communications about the commemorative activities, the notable victories and achievements, and exemplary collectives and individuals with outstanding accomplishments in work, combat, and building the All-People's Movement for National Security Protection.
