Hanoi People's Council Chairman awards medals to Party members in Ha Dong

Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council, attended a ceremony on May 16 in Ha Dong District to present Party Badges to veteran Party members. The event marked the occasion of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday, celebrated on May 19.

On this occasion, the Party Committee of Ha Dong District awarded the Party Badge to 440 Party members, including: 1 member receiving the 75-year Party membership badge; 4 members receiving the 70-year badge; 11 members receiving the 65-year badge; 32 members receiving the 60-year badge; 16 members receiving the 55-year badge; 34 members receiving the 50-year badge; 108 members receiving the 45-year badge; 131 members receiving the 40-year badge; and 103 members receiving the 30-year badge.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee awarded the 75-year Party membership badge in advance for the May 19, 2025 round to veteran party member Trinh Xuan Tai, born in 1928, affiliated with the Party Committee of Quang Trung Ward, under the Ha Dong District Party Committee. The four veteran party members receiving the 70-year Party membership badge include: Dao Ba Ven, born in 1933, affiliated with the Party Committee of Duong Noi Ward, Ha Dong District; Hoang Dinh Thanh, born in 1930, affiliated with the Party Committee of Quang Trung Ward, Ha Dong District; Hoang Van Canh, born in 1936, affiliated with the Party Committee of Van Phuc Ward, Ha Dong District; and Tran Hau Duc, born in 1937, affiliated with the Party Committee of Quang Trung Ward, Ha Dong District.

This time, former Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Tuong Phi Chien, had the honor of receiving the 50-year Party membership badge. Moved when receiving the 50-year Party badge, party member Nguyen Sy Tri (Party cell of Residential Group 2, Quang Trung Ward) said that this is a noble reward from the Party, marking a milestone in his personal journey of dedication as well as that of other honored party members.

Party member Nguyen Sy Tri stated that in the coming time he will always uphold the character, political integrity, and lifestyle of a Communist Party member. He will fight against bad habits and degeneration within the party ranks... At the same time, he will continue to study and follow the moral example and style of Ho Chi Minh to build stronger grassroots and district-level Party organizations, stepping into a new era – the era of national awakening.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan acknowledged, respectfully thanked, and congratulated the party members who were awarded the Party Badge.

Tuan stated that on this May 19 occasion, the entire city had 8,704 party members receiving the Party Badge, of which Ha Dong District had 440 members. The awarding of the Party's noble badge reflects the recognition and respect of the Party, the State, and the people for the important contributions of the party members to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the struggle for national independence, and the construction and protection of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

"You comrades are noble symbols of the qualities and spirit of Communist soldiers, who, regardless of position or environment, have excellently fulfilled every task entrusted by the Party and the Fatherland," emphasized Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan. In recent years, despite differences in age, physical capacity, job positions, economic conditions, and family circumstances, veteran party members have united, joined efforts with the entire Party and people to contribute significantly to the cause of national construction and defense; building the Capital and Ha Dong District into continuously developing, civilized, and modern areas.

Tuan expressed his hope and sincerely urged party members to continue maintaining their health, promoting revolutionary ethics, pioneering spirit, and exemplary conduct. With their rich experience, he called on them to actively encourage younger generations to comply with the Party's policies and the State's laws; participate in building the Party and local government; and nurture and educate revolutionary traditions for the younger generation to follow.

For the Ha Dong District Party Committee, Tuan requested that in the coming time it should direct efforts to achieve the economic targets for 2025 and the entire term; while continuing to pay attention to and care for the material and spiritual lives of party members, especially the veteran members. He also emphasized listening to the contributions of these comrades with the goal of building Ha Dong District into an increasingly prosperous, cultured, civilized, and modern district, contributing to the construction and development of the Capital.
