Thang presented the 80-year Party Membership Badge at the recipient's home to Le Tien, also known as Nguyen Van Dien, born in 1930 and a member of Party Cell 26 under the Ba Dinh Ward Party Committee.
Congratulating Le Tien, Thang affirmed that the 80-year Party Membership Badge is not only a great honor for the recipient but also a source of pride for his entire family. It is also a shared joy for Party Cell 26, where he is active, for the Ba Dinh Ward Party Committee and for the Hanoi Party Committee as a whole.
Expressing sincere appreciation for Le Tien's lifelong dedication and contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and to Ba Dinh Ward in particular and Hanoi in general, Thang said he hoped to continue receiving the attention, encouragement and guidance of veteran Party members.
He noted that this serves as a strong motivation for younger generations to follow their example, carry forward the legacy and strive to fulfill assigned duties, living up to the trust placed in them by their predecessors.

At the ceremony organized by the Ba Dinh Ward Party Committee, Thang also presented the 80-year Party Membership Badge to Ngo Huy Phat, born in 1930 and a member of Party Cell 25 under the Ba Dinh Ward Party Committee.
In this February 3 presentation round, the Ba Dinh Ward Party Committee awarded and posthumously awarded Party Membership Badges to 102 Party members, including two recipients of the 80-year Party Membership Badge. February 3, 2026.

Speaking at the ceremony, Thanh affirmed that awarding Party Membership Badges reflects the deep respect and high recognition of the Party, the State and the people for the important contributions and great sacrifices of generations of veteran revolutionaries and pre-revolutionary cadres in the struggle for national independence and in the cause of building and defending socialist Vietnam.
"The Party members receiving badges in this round are those who embraced revolutionary ideals early, followed the call of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh and were admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam at a very young age. They have remained steadfast and loyal to the Party," Thanh emphasized.
He noted that throughout their service, regardless of position or assignment, senior Party members have consistently upheld political integrity, promoted revolutionary spirit, set exemplary standards and demonstrated responsibility as Party members, devoting themselves wholeheartedly to the Fatherland and to serving the people, fulfilling assigned duties and earning the respect and affection of colleagues and residents.

Even after retirement in accordance with State regulations, the veteran members have remained active, taking the lead in many areas and working in unity with the local Party Committee and authorities to contribute to the shared achievements of the former Ba Dinh District and today's Ba Dinh Ward.
