At the meeting, CT&D Chairman Arthur Ting shared the group's interest in potential cooperation with Hanoi, including urban development and renovation projects aimed at improving residents' quality of life.
As an investor with long-standing experience in Vietnam, with notable projects such as the Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone and the Phu My Hung urban area in southern Vietnam, CT&D leadership affirmed its intention to expand investment activities in Hanoi, including participation in the renovation of Thanh Xuan Bac residential area.
The group expressed its expectation of receiving support and favorable conditions from Hanoi authorities for this project, as well as assistance in accessing information and connections to expand further cooperation opportunities.

Chairman Vu Dai Thang acknowledged and highly appreciated CT&D's long-term investment commitment in Vietnam through major projects that have significantly contributed to the country's socio-economic development. According to city leaders, the group's presence and its interest in expanding investment in Hanoi demonstrate the capital's attractiveness to foreign investors.
Highlighting the group's interest in the Thanh Xuan Bac redevelopment project, Thang affirmed that the proposal aligns with Hanoi's long-term planning vision of 100 years, focusing on urban renewal in a modern and civilized direction to improve residents' quality of life.
At the same time, policies and legal frameworks such as Resolution No. 258/2025/QH15 and the upcoming revised Capital Law are creating favorable conditions and a solid foundation for international investors and partners to participate in Hanoi's development process.

Thang affirmed that the city welcomes and is committed to creating all favorable conditions for Taiwanese (China) enterprises to invest in Hanoi. Relevant city agencies will closely coordinate with CT&D to implement procedures and realize cooperation ideas following the meeting.
The Chairman expressed confidence that, with CT&D's experience and capacity, combined with strong commitment and decisive actions from both sides, the group's new projects and investment initiatives in Hanoi will soon be implemented effectively.
