The Phu Xuyen District Party Committee on May 16 held a ceremony to present Party membership badges as part of the May 19, 2025 award round.
At the event, on behalf of the State President, Deputy Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan presented the Third-class Labor Order to Nguyen Van Cuong, former Standing Vice Secretary of the Phu Xuyen District Party Committee, to recognize his outstanding achievements and contributions to public service and the cause of socialist construction and national defense.
The Phu Xuyen District Party Committee also honored 188 Party members with service badges.
These included 2 members receiving the 70-year badge, 9 receiving the 65-year badge, 12 the 60-year badge, 15 the 55-year badge, 13 the 50-year badge, 51 the 45-year badge, 42 the 40-year badge, and 44 the 30-year badge.
Deputy Chairman Tuan said the awarding of these distinguished badges reflects the Party, State, and people's recognition of the significant contributions made by Party members to the revolutionary cause, the struggle for national independence, and the development and defense of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
"You are shining symbols of the integrity and spirit of communist soldiers, who have fulfilled every task entrusted by the Party and the nation, regardless of your positions or working environments," he said.
He expressed hope that the veteran Party members would continue to preserve their health and uphold the revolutionary virtues and exemplary spirit of Party members.
With their rich experience, he encouraged them to inspire younger generations to follow Party guidelines and State laws, to participate in building the Party and local government, and to help educate youth in revolutionary traditions.
He also expressed confidence that with unity and determination from all Party members, officials, and residents of Phu Xuyen, the district and its newly reorganized communes would continue to carry forward the revolutionary tradition and fulfill the city's socio-economic development goals – contributing to the rise of Hanoi and the Vietnamese nation in the new era.
