Deputies of the Hanoi People's Council on February 25 voted to remove Ha Minh Hai from the position of Deputy Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Pursuant to the Law on Local Government Organization and Notice No.2041-TB/TU dated January 17, 2025 by the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, the Hanoi Party Committee's Standing Committee on February 5, 2025 decided to assign Ha Minh Hai, a member of the Hanoi Party Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee (2021-2026 term), to the position of Head of the Organization Commission of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, effective February 15, 2025.
To ensure the leadership and management of the Hanoi People's Committee meet requirements in various fields and comply with legal regulations, the Hanoi People's Council agreed to relieve Ha Minh Hai from his position as Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee, as he has been reassigned to another role.
The council members also passed a resolution to relieve Vu Duc Bao from his duties as a member of the Hanoi People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.
Based on the Law on Local Government Organization and Decision No.8145-QD/TU dated February 5, 2025 by the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee regarding personnel matters, the Hanoi People's Council reviewed Vu Duc Bao's request to step down from his role as a council member.
He is a former member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee and former Head of the Organization Commission of the Hanoi Party Committee.
To align with his personal request and practical conditions, the Hanoi People's Council approved a resolution allowing Vu Duc Bao to resign from his position as a council member due to retirement.
