The 11 task forces have to guide 30 districts and towns through the reorganization to form 126 commune-level administrative units.
Dong Da District currently has 21 wards, with 10 wards undergoing administrative unit rearrangements: Van Mieu, Quoc Tu Giam, Kham Thien, Trung Phung, Trung Tu, Kim Lien, Phuong Lien, Nga Tu So, Khuong Thuong, and Thanh Quang. After the reorganization, the district will have 17 wards.
