The event marks an important shift from a sector-focused forum to a community innovation festival where people can access knowledge, technology and an inclusive entrepreneurial spirit.

A major highlight this year is the decision to host TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square in Hanoi, creating an open technology space for the public to directly experience new advances such as AI, IoT, Metaverse and AgriTech. With this new approach that brings technology closer to daily life, the festival seeks to turn creativity into a shared resource that supports new growth drivers during Vietnam's digital transformation.

TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 features a series of activities. Pre-event programs include investment networking and the preliminary and semifinal rounds of the National Innovative Startup Talent Search. Main event activities include the opening ceremony, the national policy forum on innovation and international cooperation for startup investment and the final round of the talent search.

The program also includes international workshops on topics such as using innovation to support local socio-economic development, connecting high-tech agricultural zones to strengthen local startup ecosystems, expanding community-based open innovation and fostering international cooperation on technology-driven workforce development.

An exhibition of innovative startup products and services will run continuously from December 12 to 14 across four themed zones.

Side events will also take place, including a discussion on AI startups with investors, a forum on AI training for the public, a session on AI startups and ESG-oriented industrial parks and a conversation on green education from classroom to practice.
