The Danang delegation included 282 members, divided into two groups consisting of leaders, former leaders, contributors to the revolution, ethnic minority representatives, and religious dignitaries. Vice Chairman Truong Viet Dung personally went to each carriage to greet the delegates.

Returning to Hanoi after five years, Cho Rum Nhien, former Secretary of the Nam Giang Commue Party Committee of Danang, expressed his honor and pride. He said he was deeply moved to see Hanoi so beautifully decorated with flags and flowers everywhere, with people already filling the sidewalks to await the historic 80th National Day celebration on the morning of September 2.
Sharing the same joy, Bhling Mia, a Co Tu ethnic representative and Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Tay Giang Commune, said the Danang delegation included people ranging from 24 to 79 years old.
He emphasized that although the delegates differed in ethnicity, age, and profession, they all shared the common happiness of coming to Hanoi to celebrate 80 years of national independence. He expressed gratitude to the Party, the Government, central ministries, and the city of Hanoi for their thorough preparation, which ensured a solemn and meaningful celebration.
Bhling Mia said the delegation was especially touched by the warm and thoughtful reception from Hanoi. He shared that he was very moved when Vice Chairman Truong Viet Dung personally shook hands with each delegate at the station, welcomed them, and took commemorative photos together.
Following the direction of General Secretary To Lam on receiving delegations attending the grand celebration, Hanoi carefully prepared detailed plans.
On August 29, 2025, Vice Chairman Truong Viet Dung signed Official Dispatch No. 4868/UBND-LSLT on arrangements for welcoming delegations from provinces and centrally-run cities to attend the 80th anniversary celebration and parade.
With the coordinated efforts of its departments and agencies, Hanoi was ready for the great national event, ensuring all delegates, residents, and visitors to the capital would be warmly welcomed and enjoy a safe, meaningful, and memorable holiday.
After being welcomed at Hanoi Railway Station, the Danang delegation was taken to Novotel Hanoi Hotel for accommodation.

Also on the morning of September 1, Vice Chairman Dung received the delegation from Quang Ngai Province, who came to Hanoi for the 80th anniversary celebration.
At the reception, he met with delegates recognized for their contributions to the nation and presented them with gifts, wishing them good health and happiness. He praised their sacrifices, which had played an important role in the country's struggle for independence and its protection.
Nguyen Thanh Tinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Ngai Province, said the delegation departed on August 31 and arrived in Hanoi at noon on September 1. On behalf of the delegation, he sincerely thanked the Hanoi leadership, especially Vice Chairman Dung, for the respectful and thoughtful welcome.
The Quang Ngai delegation included 179 delegates in total, consisting of leaders, former leaders, contributors to the revolution, and religious dignitaries.
