Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha has carried out on-site inspections and directed implementation work at the Hanoi Children's Palace (Branch 2), CV1 Park and Regulating Lake, Cau Giay Park in Cau Giay Ward and Ho Dac Di Park in Dong Da Ward.
The inspection focused on three main areas: decoration and communication work, opening plans to serve the public during the Tet holiday and the review and safety assurance of children's play areas.
At the inspected sites, Ha stressed that decoration and communication activities must be implemented in a synchronized and dignified manner, strictly following political orientation. These efforts should both celebrate the 14th National Party Congress and create a joyful and festive atmosphere for residents during the Lunar New Year.

She requested that management units of parks, recreational areas and the Hanoi Children’s Palace continue reviewing systems of banners, posters and visual displays to ensure appropriate content and presentation that harmonize with the urban landscape. She also cautioned against superficial or scattered decorations lacking clear focal points.
The vice chairwoman stressed the need to strike a balance between traditional Tet decorations and modern, civilized elements. She also called for linking communication activities with efforts to raise public awareness of urban order regulations and environmental protection, contributing to a green, clean and beautiful image of the capital in the eyes of residents and visitors.
Regarding Tet opening arrangements, Ha instructed operators of parks and recreational areas to proactively develop operating plans for the periods before, during and after the holiday. Facilities must remain open continuously, with clear duty rosters and clearly defined responsibilities. Public services, especially those for children and families, must prioritize safety, civility and a friendly environment.

A key issue of particular concern was the inspection of children's play areas. Following on-site checks at the Hanoi Children's Palace and several parks, Ha acknowledged the proactive preparation of facilities by management units. However, she requested more thorough inspections of playground equipment, technical infrastructure, ground surfaces, greenery and auxiliary facilities to ensure full safety.
In addition, she called on relevant units to accelerate environmental sanitation work, complete construction and renovation activities and address outstanding infrastructure issues. These efforts aim to ensure urban aesthetics and create green, clean and safe recreational spaces for residents to enjoy a peaceful and healthy Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026.
