The Hanoi People's Committee on November 28 decided to recognize seven municipal-level relic sites and landmarks.

The decision was numbered 6162/QD-UBND and issued by Deputy Chairwoman Vu Thu Ha.

The ranked sites include the Truong Do Family Church in Ung Hoa District's Tao Duong Van Commune, Ky Vien Pagoda in Hoai Duc District's Duc Giang Commune, the Tren Communal House and Yen Son Pagoda in Chuong My District's Dong Lac Commune, and the Bach Tuyet Communal House in My Duc District's Hung Tien Commune.

The people's committees of Ung Hoa, Hoai Duc, Chuong My, My Duc, and Phuc Thọ districts are tasked to announce and designate the protection zones for these sites and prepare and implement boundary markers on the sites.

The communal people's committees managing these ranked sites are responsible for overseeing the preservation and promotion of the monuments. This includes the management of site grounds, artifacts, and protection activities, as well as utilizing revenue in compliance.

Their operations must be in line with Decision No.48/2016/QD-UBND (dated November 17, 2016) and Decision No.31/2021/QD-UBND (dated December 29, 2021), which regulate the management, protection and promotion of Hanoi's historical, cultural sites and landmarks.

Any activities related to construction or exploitation within the protected zones of these ranked sites are strictly prohibited. In exceptional cases where land use or construction within these areas is necessary, prior approval from the Hanoi People's Committee is required.

The Department of Culture and Sports, the people's committees of the five districts, and their respective communes are responsible for managing these sites. Their duties fall under their assigned authority and compliance with Vietnam's laws on cultural heritage preservation.
