Overview of the meeting.
Hanoi has provided an emergency relief fund of VND50 billion (US$2 million) to Gia Lai and has recently approved an additional VND200 billion (US$8 million) to help residents recover and stabilize their lives.
The city also transferred VND10 billion (US$0.4 million) from its Relief Fund to the Central Fatherland Front Committee in response to the national call for support. On November 24, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong delivered VND30 billion (US$1.2 million) to Dak Lak, Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa, with each province receiving VND10 billion.
Under the directive of the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Hanoi Party Committee, the Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee launched a campaign calling on residents to support people in the Central and Central Highlands regions, especially in Gia Lai.
Local authorities and citizens quickly donated money, goods and essential supplies. Within only two days, from November 24 to 25, Fatherland Front Committees of communes and wards collected tens of tons of essential goods to send to affected areas, reflecting the capital's timely solidarity.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Fatherland Front Committee Tran Minh Son thanked Hanoi for its meaningful and timely assistance.
