The Hanoi Women's Union Vice Chairwoman extends Tet greetings to the staff of Hanoi Urban Environment One Member Co., Ltd.
Vu Van Ha, Deputy General Director of Urenco, said the company recorded revenue of VND1,814 billion (US$71.5 million) in 2025, reaching 108 percent of its annual target. The firm successfully ensured environmental sanitation for major political and cultural events in the capital, notably the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
In preparation for Tet, Urenco has implemented a continuous sanitation plan under the motto of clearing all waste and ensuring clean streets before returning home to celebrate with family. Alongside professional duties, employee welfare has been prioritized. The company plans to provide Tet gifts worth VND8 million to VND10 million (US$315–US$394) per employee and additional support for workers facing hardship, with total holiday assistance exceeding VND1 billion (US$39,400).

Expressing appreciation for the demanding work of sanitation workers, Anh thanked them for their dedication and extended New Year wishes for health and family happiness. She encouraged female workers to continue overcoming challenges and join hands with the city to address bottlenecks and keep Hanoi's streets bright, green, clean and beautiful during the holiday season.
At the event, the Hanoi Women's Union presented gifts to 10 female workers in difficult circumstances, each worth VND1 million (US$39). In coordination with Hanoi Xanh Cooperative, 100 gift packages were distributed, including laundry detergent and dishwashing liquid. The union also partnered with BIDV Bank to provide 10 additional support packages for disadvantaged female workers, each valued at VND1 million (US$39) in cash and a gift bag worth VND300,000 (US$12).

Among the recipients was Trinh Thi Hoa, 48, who continues to work despite undergoing treatment for stage three breast cancer and caring for her husband, who has suffered stroke for five years. She remains committed to her job to support her two children's education.
Holding her Tet gift, Hoa shared emotionally, "I have just returned to work after radiation therapy. Receiving this support today truly moves me."
The delegation later visited three sanitation teams to deliver gifts and New Year wishes. At each location, Anh encouraged workers to maintain their efforts and ensure environmental hygiene across the city, especially during the upcoming holiday.
Hanoi Urban Environment One Member Co., Ltd. is a state-owned public utility enterprise responsible for collecting, transporting and treating medical waste and hazardous industrial waste, as well as maintaining environmental sanitation in 65 of the city's 126 communes and wards. The company operates 19 affiliated units with a workforce of 4,990 employees.
