Director of the Hanoi Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs Nguyen Sy Truong presents Tet gifts to respected community representatives.
At the meeting, the department presented 119 Tet gift packages to respected individuals from ethnic minority communities in Ba Vi, Thach That, Suoi Hai, My Duc, Yen Xuan, Yen Bai and Tran Phu communes.
The activity reflected the care and appreciation of the Party, the State and the city for the contributions of these individuals to community outreach, ethnic solidarity and grassroots stability.

Speaking at the meeting, Truong said that in recent years, the Party, the State, and Hanoi have consistently attached great importance to ethnic affairs and policies for respected individuals within ethnic minority communities.
He noted that these individuals are close to the people, understand community needs, and have a strong influence at the grassroots level. They serve as an important bridge between Party committees and local authorities and the public.
They actively encourage residents to comply with Party guidelines and State laws and contribute to maintaining unity, stability and development at the local level.
Truong emphasized that 2026 marks the first year of a new development phase for the country and the capital. Alongside favorable conditions, there remain many challenges that require the combined efforts of the entire political system and the public.
In this process, respected individuals continue to play a vital role as trusted connectors between authorities and communities, helping to strengthen national unity and maintain grassroots stability.
On behalf of the department's leadership, Truong expressed sincere appreciation for the dedication and sense of responsibility shown by respected community members over the years. Their practical and meaningful contributions have helped reinforce national unity, safeguard security and order, and promote local socio-economic development.
