The Hanoi Department of Construction stated that there are currently two subsidized bus routes directly connecting to the Vietnam Exhibition Center.
The first is the electric bus route No. 43, which links central districts (Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem, Long Bien) with northern areas (Dong Anh, Noi Bai) via Chuong Duong Bridge, operating at a frequency of 15–20 minutes per trip.
The second is the electric bus route E10, which connects the eastern area of the city (Gia Lam) via Dong Tru Bridge, operating at 20-minute intervals. This route passes by the Vietnam Exhibition Center.
In the western area, there are currently four nearby routes (Nos. 25, 90, 96, and 143), but they do not reach the Vietnam Exhibition Center, located about 5–6 kilometers away.
At present, residents and visitors traveling from the city center to the Vietnam Exhibition Center can only access it via the two bus routes—No. 43 and E10—along Truong Sa Street, approximately 100 meters from the venue.
Therefore, in addition to the two existing subsidized routes (Nos. 43 and E10), four additional routes will be introduced along three main directions (city center, west, and south) to connect directly to the Vietnam Exhibition Center.
After implementing these supplementary routes, the network to the venue will be organized as follows:
- From the city center: departing from Kim Ma – Hao Nam (Route No. 43) and Times City urban area (Route No. E08TC).
- From the east: departing from Ocean Park urban area (Route No. E10).
- From the west: departing from Yen Nghia Bus Station (Route No. 02TC) and Smart City urban area (Route No. E09TC).
- From the south: departing from Giap Bat Bus Station (Route No. 32TC).
The total number of buses is expected to be 34 on weekdays (Monday–Friday) and 37 on weekends (Saturday–Sunday). The total number of daily trips is 378 on weekdays and 416 on weekends.
Service hours will run from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., depending on the route.
(See the detailed route appendix here.)
During implementation, service frequency and vehicle allocation may be adjusted based on real-time conditions. Additional buses may be deployed as needed to ease passenger congestion.
The plan will be carried out from October 26th to November 4th, 2025.
Regarding vehicle identification, the Hanoi Department of Construction noted that buses in operation will be drawn from existing fleets and display auxiliary signs reading "National Exhibition Bus" to help residents and visitors easily recognize them.
