On November 15, Tran Dinh Canh, Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission, attended the Great National Unity Festival in Thanh Xuan Trung 10 residential area of Thanh Xuan Ward.
Secretary of the ward Party and Chairman of the People's Council Nguyen Huy Cuong and the ward Vice Secretary Tran Thi Thu Ha joined the event.
At the festival, Nguyen Xuan Hong, head of Residential Group 14, said the area consists of three residential groups with around 1,976 households and more than 5,500 residents.
About half of the households are young families with stable education and income, mostly living in the apartment building at 47 Nguyen Tuan Street.
Residents follow local laws and regulations and use digital platforms fluently, which improves communication with local authorities and speeds up public-information campaigns. Living standards are stable and relatively high, reflected in vibrant cultural activities and strong support for local initiatives.
After the early phase of the two-tier local government model, the area achieved positive results. Communication improved through flexible outreach, and residents showed trust in the Party and authorities.
Local mass organizations strengthened their role as bridges between the community and the government, helping build a friendly and service-oriented administration.
Speaking at the event, Canh commended the area's achievements. He highlighted the active cultural, artistic, and sports activities, which strengthen community cohesion and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
He noted that the area has no poor or near-poor households, only stable and affluent families while public security, urban order, and environmental hygiene remain strong.
The community successfully sustained the "Five No's" model: no social evils, no urban-order violations, no sidewalk encroachment, no littering, and no fire-safety violations. As a result, the area has avoided complex social problems and environmental hotspots for many years.
Canh also praised the community's effective use of digital tools to improve coordination between residents, neighborhood groups, and authorities. He said this helps build a modern, friendly, and civilized residential area.

He encouraged local officials and residents to continue strengthening unity, expanding civic movements, and replicating successful models such as "Self-managed Residential Groups," "Skillful Mobilization," and "Outstanding Cultural Families."
The official urged the area to advance digital transformation and maintain the role of the Fatherland Front and local organizations in guiding residents to follow Party policies and State laws.
Canh also called for continued efforts to uphold the area as a model urban community and a symbol of national unity in Hanoi.
At the event, Canh presented a city gift of VND10 million ($380) to the residential area, while Thanh Xuan Ward leaders contributed an additional VND5 million ($190). They also gave gifts to outstanding households in the community.
