The inauguration of the post-renovation Nghia Do Park.
On January 29, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Do Ward held an inauguration ceremony and unveiled a city-level project plaque celebrating the success of the 14th National Party Congress at the Nghia Do Park renovation project.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, member of the Hanoi Party Standing Committee and Director of the Hanoi Department of Public Security, attended the event.
After the implementation of the two-tier local government model, the Nghia Do Ward People's Committee took over and continued the renovation and upgrading of Nghia Do Park with a total investment of nearly VND61 billion (US$2.3 million).
Now completed, the park will provide residents and people in neighboring areas with additional safe spaces for recreation, exercise and daily activities. It will also contribute to improving physical and mental health, especially for the elderly, children and regular exercisers.
During implementation, the ward's project management unit ensured compliance with regulations on quality management, construction progress, environmental sanitation, occupational safety and fire prevention. The project met approved design standards in quality, technical specifications and aesthetics.

Its completion coincided with celebrations of the successful 14th National Party Congress.
