The meeting was chaired by Bui Huyen Mai, member of the Hanoi Party Committee Standing Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi.

In her remarks, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Bui Huyen Mai congratulated and praised the efforts and achievements of collectives and individuals during 2025.
She emphasized that over the past month, Hanoi has witnessed clear and positive changes. The city’s Fatherland Front system has strictly followed the direction set out by Party General Secretary To Lam at the 18th Hanoi Party Congress: “Hanoi says what it does, acts fast, acts right, and acts to the end.”
She noted that all areas of the city's work have shown positive progress.
"The joint review conference held today by the Hanoi Party Committee, the Hanoi People's Council, the Hanoi People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi also shows a clear shift in leadership style and working methods in the capital's new development phase," she said.

She stressed that the Fatherland Front system cannot stand aside from this transformation.
Conference participants reviewed and absorbed 12 key task groups assigned by the Hanoi Party Secretary to the entire political system, along with five immediate task groups that the city's Fatherland Front system will begin implementing from January 2026.
Mai said that immediately after the conference, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi will meet to deploy tasks in line with the Party Secretary's directives issued during his recent working session with the Fatherland Front Party Organization.
Many tasks require concrete solutions and immediate action from the first days and months of 2026, she said.
Building on achieved results, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi at all levels will work in a more creative, proactive and determined manner, strengthening its role as a trusted bridge between the Party, the State and the people, Mai said.
